Republic Day is celebrated every year in the month of January on 26. It is the day when our Indian constitution came into effect. Our constitution took 2 years 11 months and 18 days to be formed completely. Republic Day is celebrated wth patriotic feelings in mind and love for India. the tricolor is hoisted at Rajpath by the Indian President. The current President of India is Mr. Pranab Mukherjee. India will celebrate its 68th Republic Day and the chief guest for Republic Day will be Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi.
Republic Day functions are organized at the Rajpath, army officials, senior officials, ministers and other guests enjoy the Republic Day Celebrations. School students perform dance and other performances on patriotic songs. Indian army also presents the display of their bravery and perform some thrilling action performances. Different states display special appearances and try to display their culture and traditions. You can hear the Republic Day Speech live on the DD National channel. People sit in front of TV to see the live celebrations of Republic Dy at the Rajpath. Indian Govt has done all the preparations for the Republic Day 2017 parade and Republic Day function.
