Valentine Day Celebrations: What comes to mind when we say the 'Valentine's Day'. Of course, Love.  Yes, because This is the day of love that is celebrated all around the world. Be it the young couples or the old ones, if love exists, this day still holds that much of importance to celebrate their love. After all who does not want to celebrate being in love. Valentine Day is a special day for lovers. Everyone wish to celebrate the Valentine Day with their lover. Valentine Day falls every year on 14 February. Valentine Day is generally popular among young couples and college students. On the occasion of Valentine Day, they love to spend the whole day with their valentine.

Valentine's Day, also known as the Valentine's Day or yes as the Feasting of Saint Valentine. It is an annual holiday that is celebrated on February 14. Valentine Day originated as a Western Christian liturgical feast day that was for honoring one or more early saints named Valentinus, and so is recognized as a significant cultural and commercial celebration in the whole world, however, Valentine Day is not a public holiday in any country.

Several martyrdom Valentine Day stories were associated with the various Valentines that were connected to February 14 and so were added to later martyrologies, also including a popular hagiographical account of Saint Valentine of Rome which indicated that he was imprisoned for performing weddings for all those soldiers who were forbidden to marry and for ministering to Christians in their service, who were then persecuted under the Roman Empire.  According to legend, it is also said that during his imprisonment, Saint Valentine healed the daughter of his jailer, Asterius also and before his execution, he wrote her a letter signed "Your Valentine" as a farewell expressing his love.

Saint Valentine's Day is an official feast day in the Anglican Communion and as well as in the Lutheran Church. Many parts of the Eastern Orthodox Church also do celebrate Saint Valentine's Day, albeit, on July 6 and July 30, the former date in honor of the Roman presbyter Saint Valentine, and the latter date in honor of Hieromartyr Valentine, the Bishop of Interamna as the sources say it. The earliest surviving valentine known so is a 15th-century rondeau that is written by Charles, Duke of Orléans to his wife, which commences as follows-

At the time, the duke was being held in the Tower of London following his capture at the Battle of Agincourt, 1415 taken for his imprisonment.

The earliest surviving valentines in English appear to be those in the Paston Letters, written in 1477 by Margery Brews to her future husband John Paston "my right well-beloved Valentine".

Well on today's date,  there is a craze around the world to celebrate Valentine's day. Flowers,  gifts,  chocolates, all these are exchanged among lovers. 

Such a day to celebrate Valentine's day. Valentine Day is the day where lovers for each other try to make the day most special. The day where people confess their love,  the day where they tell how much they love someone.  Valentine Day is the day that celebrates love and so is widely celebrated all around the world.

So it was all about Valentine Day. Valentine Day is about to come. The Valentine's Day will be celebrated on 14 Feb 2017 by millions of lovers and young couples.
